The International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Provider course is a 16-hour course that includes 8 hours of classroom instruction, 8 hours of hands-on skills training, and testing for ITLS Basic or Advanced certification. Trauma Life Support (TLS) with advanced interventions is a 24-hour course. Innovative skills stations let learners practice the abilities appropriate to their scope of practice.
The ITLS Provider course is appropriate for all levels of EMS personnel, including paramedics, trauma nurses, and physicians. TLS with advanced skills is physician-focused.

On successful course completion the candidate will receive KLS certificates via email or provided at the closing event.
Students must complete and pass skills training and a written-exam to be eligible for the ITLS/PHTLS certification.
For medical or nursing student your certification is free. Postgraduate or fellows pay a subsidized fee. Faculty pay a reduced fee. If you are interested in obtaining ITLS/PHTLS certification, you will be required to pay for the cost of the certification card.
