The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course has been developed to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The BLS for Healthcare Providers course is led by AHA certified instructors.

On successful course completion the candidate will receive KLS certificates via email or provided at the closing event.
Students must complete and pass skills training and a written-exam to be eligible for the AHA certification. American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card is valid for two years.
For medical or nursing student your certification is free. Postgraduate or fellows pay a subsidized fee. Faculty pay a reduced fee. If you are interested in obtaining AHA certification, you will be required to pay for the cost of the AHA Completion Card.
